DSK sailing team (ITA)
This syndicate has four yachts which most people can only dream of. The Italian team also definitely knows its business. Preparations are already underway for the Swan 90's first regatta, the RORC Caribbean 600. This inaugural race starts on 23 February 2009 from Fort Charlotte, just outside Antigua, and continues on via Barbuda and the islands of Nevis, Saba and St. Barths to St. Martin, from where the fleet sails on to Guadeloupe, the southernmost location, and finally returns to Antigua via Barbuda: a total of 605 nautical miles.
Team Steven (NED)
The `Stevens`, as they are also called, have attended to several World Cups and other international events last year. With results like a 5th place at the Delta Lloyd Regatta in Medemblik and a 6th place at the Olympic water during the Sail for Gold regatta in Weymouth, they are becoming important sailors in the world top. Since October they are a part of the crew of the Sailing Federation, which means a full-time program led by top coach Daniel Smith.
This winter they will be training in southern Portugal and in December Team Stevens will participated in the Christmas Regatta in Palamos. In January the first World Cup of the year will be held in Miami, where the boys will attend. From March they will be in Europe and attend to almost all 470 major events and off course they will join the World Championship in there 'own' Scheveningen.

Sneker Pan (NED)
From the sailmaking company of Douwe Gaastra in Sneek, which began in 1897, Gaastra International Sportswear has grown out to an international lifestyle brand that stays close to its heritage. To underline this, Gaastra not only sponsors the Royal Watersportvereniging Sneek and Sneekweek, but has also signed an official sponsorship agreement with the Sneker Pan. This is the official skûtsje (an ancient sailing boat) of Sneek.
The crew, the contest-commission and the board of the Sneker Pan are all provided by the clothing of Gaastra Sportswear and Gaastra Pro Gear. Besides the regular GX-03 collection a special sailing suit was developed with IBQ for the sensitive locations for the sailors, because sailing in a skûtsje is very though work. The entire team of the Sneker Pan also received an outfit for all official occasions such as sailors meetings and awards. The unity of the whole team is now well visible on the water and on shore.
Valars (RUS)
Valars is a Transpac 52 which of 16 meters long. Since 2008 RUS7 is sailing the Valars, the team became one of the leading Russian sailing teams in the past 7 years and participated in all the major sailing regattas. This year the Valars participated in the following regattas: Palma Vela, Alicante Med Cup , Marseille, Caqliari, Portimao, Cartage, Copa Del Rey and the TP52 World Championship.
The TP52 class has grown out to a registered and ISAF recognized class and is generally seen as the ultimate Grand Prix Racer. The major races and events for this class are Med Cup and TP52 World Championship. The best sailors in the world will participate in this races. www.rus7.org
