Sneek Week 2008: a fantastic party

In spite of stormy winds, thunderstorms, and intermittent rain, Sneek Week was again a fantastic event. After all, the sun was also a regular visitor, and the wind abated in the course of the week until it was no more than a light breeze. Sailors from all over the Netherlands in several classes filled the Sneekermeer lake to compete for the well-known Sneek Week shield. Gaastra designed a limited edition collection especially for the Sneek Week, which quickly became very much sought after items! Participants and visitors alike were able to purchase these special articles at a special sales location on the Starting Island. In order to ensure that not a single participant would return home empty-handed, each participant in the Sneek Week received a Sneek Week limited edition cap!
